OMG i miss my blog so much, i haven't posted anything for a week I've been busy with school and stuff.. I hope i can post more :)...I will be blogging more often this week ensha2 Allah

Why is the Statue of Liberty green ?

As you guys may know from earlier posts I went to New York City earlier in the summer...We went to see the statue of liberty, there were lots of information plaques on the island about how tall the statue is and what it represents but one that really caught my eye is : Why is the Statue of Liberty green?  

The Statue of Liberty is coated with a thin layer of copper, which turns a blue-green with age due to chemical reactions between metal and water. This process is known as patination and occurs with most copper when it's placed outside, the true color of the Statue of Liberty before patination was a shiny reddish brown color...And that's why the Statue of Liberty is Green :p

Restaurant reviews : The Meat Co

I went to The Meat Co restaurant at 360 Mall .. it is a very calm place and the food was delicious !
we ordered steak with pepper sauce

Wagyu Burger

And Triple Cheese Burger

But I liked the Wagyu Burger more ! it was really tasty

We ordered desert for my cousin's birthday .. so the restaurant's staff  came and sang some african songs for us

it was fun ;)

Movie reviews : Monte Carlo

i just saw Monte Carlo on DVD, .i thought it would be boring but its really good! if you like chick flick movies you will fall in love with this one...Three girls decide to go to Paris and Selena Gomez gets mistaken for an heiress that looks just like her,she then goes to Monte Carlo as the heiress...It's a good movie ,if you haven't seen it yet you should ;p

Book reviews : The Twilight Saga : The Official Illustrated Guide

I don't really like vampires and werewolves but I love twilight!! i'm a big Twi-hard and I've read all the twilight saga books and loved them...The Twilight Saga : The Official Illustrated Guide is amazing ! it has all the missed out details from all four books plus The short second life of Bree Tanner!....I love the graphics in this book and i loved reading it...if you like twilight as much as i do, You will fall in love with this book :)

I don't know where you can get this book in Kuwait , Maybe virgin...If not you should definitely buy it from www.amazon.com !

Movie reviews : Final Destination 5

On Tuesday, I went to see Final Destination 5 at AlFanar theater .. I really hate horror movies ! ..
But i saw it because i really wanted to go to a movie and that was the best movie in theaters

it was really stressful ! And my eyes were closed in every death scene but it was directed well.
I saw it in Digital 3D and it literally freaked me out :p

On the second day of Eid .. I went to The Avenues Mall .. I had dinner at Shake Shake .. The best Burger ever <3

I adore The (Shake Stack Burger) it`s a Shroom Burger with meat :p .. it`s really tasty !

The restaurant was very crowded ! but my delicious burger changed my mood ;)

I bought the Martha Stewart makes Cookies App on my iPad, there is more than one Martha Stewart App on the App store and they're all really good but I liked the Martha Stewart  makes cookies best,  I don't really like to bake a lot but the design of the app is really cute and it kind of makes ME want to make cookies! it has about 50 different cookie recipes with videos and other cool stuff that can make you a cookie expert!
The app costs $4.99 its a little pricey but its worth it and I recommend buying it if you like cookies, or if you like Martha Stewart, or if you just like to buy stuff on your iPad or iPhone :p
